It is commonly understood that English is one of the most important global languages, a language that is commonly used in the international business community. Many large international companies have mandated English as their corporate language.
There could be many reasons that English has become the choice of global business. English has a head start through its history of colonialism and through the spread of American entertainment culture. English is also easier to learn than Mandarin.

Adopting an English corporate language strategy is important for the success of international businesses
Large, international companies are currently choosing English as their official corporate language to 1) beat competition, 2) globalize tasks and resources and 3) make merging and acquisitions easier.
English corporate mandates can cause discomfort, resistance and a loss of confidence in employees unless they continue to learn to write and speak better.
Companies can make it easier for their employees to learn English by offering them opportunities, fostering positive attitudes, using encouragement, using a good language institute, while encouraging good study habits.
A company can use the English language as a way to create a “global” culture since English is generally recognized as a global language.
